Since I'm a computer programmer by trade, genetics and genetic engineering have always interested me. I consider genetic engineering and the creation/modification of lifeforms to be the highest form of programming.
As such, I've taken several courses in molecular biology, and have a small hobby genetics lab where I can noodle around with various ideas.
